What should I do to prepare for my first wax?

You can't shave or trim for at least 2 weeks. If the hair is too long we will trim anything necessary please do not do any trimming prior to your appointment. Make sure you are well hydrated, drink water, you can also moisturize the days before we recommend something dye and fragrance free, no oils. You can also take a over the counter pain reliever 30 mins prior to your appointment. Avoid tanning beds for 24 hours prior.

What can I expect as far as pain?

Everyone is different but the sting of waxing is very short lived. It lasts for just a second after the hair is removed. As you continue to wax on a regular basis the sting diminishes due to the fact that the hair bulb gets much smaller and weaker.

How long prior to a special event should I wax?

We recommend getting more then one wax prior to your special event or vacation for better results. You'll want your final wax 24 hours prior to your actual event. No sun or sea 24 hours after waxing and you'll be more comfortable if you don't do it the day of your special event.

Can I get waxed on my cycle?

Absolutely! Just be sure to be using a fresh tampon, cup, disk or ect. Also please let your technician know.

What else should I know?

For 24 hours before your wax no tanning. For 24 hours after no tanning, sun, sea, pools, hot tubs, baths, gym or excessive sweating, and no sex. We also recommend you moisturize with an unscented lotion and exfoliate.
